          Bought this to cool off my computer's CPU - popped the side off the computer case, used the side panel as a deflector to direct the air in and just put this fan on the floor pointed at the CPU - works like a charm - brought the CPU temp right down -can't beat the price - very quiet

                        Don't waste your money. This is cheaply built. The adjustments do not work-the screw does not keep it tight so it keeps lowering the fan head instead of staying in place. Does not move enough air to be useful on high, much less on low. If you are looking for something to use when it is warm - this is NOT what you want.

                          I use the fan to help keep my laptop cool and move the air in my office space. Fan has a high speed whine, rather obtrusive, and moves only moderate amount of air.

                          Yes, it's only a 4" fan, but you'd expect a lot more air flow for something as loud as this one is. Strikes me as a noise maker that happens to move some air around.
