I have been using Logitech trackball mice for years. Love that I don't run off the edge of my keyboard tray or desk when using it, and with my tendonitis, my hand doesn't fall asleep using it like it does with standard mice. My only complaint would be that some of the standard button functions have changed since I bought my original, or maybe they don't work the same with Windows 7, so "page up" and "page down" don't always work as well as they should.

Bought Logitech mouse many years ago (more than 8) and just yesterday it died! Never had a mouse "die" in my 30 years on computers. Data entry 8-5 daily killed it. Wonderfully easy to use even after carpel tunnel surgery. Recommend for any use and any age.

Still trying to get use to it and program the (extra) buttons for what works best for me. Also, I've noticed that the scroll settings do not work in every program.

This is my second Trackball. First one that I had for 11 years met with an unfortunate iced tea demise. Up until that time it was still working perfectly. I will buy no other mouse. I can use it all day and have no discomfort in my fingers, arm or shoulder. It really is a quality, well designed, fun device to use. I recommend it to everybody.
